Equinox is much more than a major importer and distributor of horse meat in Europe ...  There are about 50 people working at Equinox.
​Although horse meat is still the main produce, Equinox has had a variety of other specialities over the years, such as 'special beef varieties' , 'prepared meals' and 'slicing'.

FRESH HORSE MEAT?  Equinox takes the shortest route. The meat is imported directly from overseas and European slaughterhouses.  We also offer an extensive range of  FRESH BEEF SPECIALITIES, such as Angus beef, Simmental, Argentinian Beef, etc.  . These products are available to purchase in bulk or in portions.

Our second speciality is the preparation of smoked horse meat. Equinox’s SMOKED HORSE MEAT  is a recognised regional product and is highly regarded for its delicious taste. We also offer a limited range of home-made pork specialities.

Equinox also markets a range of PREPARED MEALS with ‘stew meat’ as a speciality. Dozens of recipes using different types of meat are available in various packages.

Finally, Equinox is well-known as a SLICER AND PACKER of fresh meat and meat products. We cut and package both our own products and third-party products in skin packing and MAP trays.
